  1. I enlarged this image and had a good look at it and there is a great deal to like. Is it a work in progress? Love the colour too btw!

    • Thank you! I think I’m going to leave it for a bit and keep going on with quick sketches. I think I’ve come over all a bit Nicholas Herbert this afternoon! In intention that is, not result. The photos aren’t picking up the colour though so am in two kinds whether to post.

      • That made me smile! Actually I find making good representative photos very difficult and end up doing a lot in Photoshop to get them looking like they do real life. The two things that are always difficult is every device I use to photograph puts in two much contrast and too much yellow! Look forward to seeing your new work. Bet, Nicholas.

  2. I like the shapes in this one, Outside Authority and the road that treks me off to the right and out of view.

  3. I’m pleased with it too Leslie – went for strong downward brush strokes with strong colour and tried not to think about it too much. Was watching some rubbish on telly which always relaxes me!
