Thank you. I’d tried a few things with this scene. Initially it was the light that I played with in paint, then it decided it needed to be the shapes and an ink print. I did more planning than usual and funnily enough, it paid off!

Well spotted, it is. I have some particularly splodgey printing ink which doesn’t always work, but this print coped with it for once!

Hi Neil. These titles tend to just pop into my mind. I think this print reminded me of spokes, which led to wheelwright, which led to the better looking and sounding wainwright. Wainwright was also a well known fell walker and writer here, not that this scene is anywhere near his stomping ground.
I love the contrast of white lines on black and black lines on white.
