These are nice Authority – enjoyed seeing the difference in each style and medium.

    • Thank you Mary. It’s good to play, enjoy the doing and not worry too much about the result – I’m slowly but surely learning that!

A habit that I’m still trying to break into!! Only these days I have very limited time to paint and let me just say I can tell, my latest after four days is still on the easel untouched (partly because I really don’t like the direction it’s taken and then not having the time to concentrate on it). Best wishes for a creative year!

        • I still encounter tbat problem Mary, so I commiserate. It can get to a point where I can’t even remember why I started the picture in the first place. All we can do is keep going with whatever time we have.

Great heads. I like you’re drawing over painting, and your choice of tonal values on the faces.

  3. These are all great, and I really like the last one. Nice brush work!

  4. A great series of studies – each different and engaging.

  5. You’re an artist, mate… no doubt about it…
