One, two, buckle my shoe

August 8, 2017

Bit of a cheat, as these were done a while ago. The birds (I really can’t be more specific than that!) of Arthur’s Seat have provided lots of material with their inquisitive cocked heads.

These show real observation, draughtsmanship and creativity. Great stuff.

  2. The first one is like seeing a bird through the rain. Love it.

  3. There is this raven that constantly waits outside the window my cat sleeps near. He goes ballistic trying to get in and get to my cat. It’s funny, yet worrisome. So the first one reminds me of it waiting outside the window, even being seen through the blinds, haha.

  4. Yeah found an article, though I didn’t see anything about the offspring knowing right off the bat. Interesting though! http://blogs.discovermagazine.com/80beats/2011/06/30/grudge-holding-crows-pass-on-their-anger-to-family-and-friends/#.WYogE3RlDqB

  5. Beautiful drawings. Birds are so fidgety

Crow or raven I’d say. I like the tension of the lines. (K)
