    • Thanks Leonie. I can feel a little ambivalent about things after I post them so good to get specific feedback. My family do comment – ‘you’re not going to do another one of those crap ones where you don’t even look are you?’!

  2. Oh they need more training! My other half now enjoys making comments about ‘blind drawing’ etc., although he now also critiques my work.

    • I’ve been thinking lately about how I appraise work – my own and others and actually I’m rather lazy I don’t often go into why i like it or it ‘works’ . I know someone who I struggle to go to art galleries with as she is apt to say ‘a child could do that’ etc. But thinking about it, i have my own, unthought out prejudices, biases and snap reactions. I’d like to explore these more
