  1. I really like these colorful pieces you are doing with that style you have that actually dazzles my eye with shapes. Good painting! Is this in progress or do you leave them like this? The transparent aspect of some of the forms makes me think of overlapping time periods within one painting. That’s kind of a cool thought.

  2. Hi Leslie, thank you for your interesting comments that have made me consider these recent pictures again. It all started by going to see a http://www.danperfect.co.uk and http://www.Fiona-rae.com exhibition which made me think – hang on there’s a lot more colours out there that I’m not using! So I came back and did a bright orange interior that didn’t work. However, I went over that with a view out of my window. This was done over several early evenings and the light was constantly changing which might be what you can see. The shapes come from my life drawing I think. That’s about all you can see from my front window so not sure where to go next…
