  1. Gorgeous!!!!!! This captures my attention right off. My eye and brain want to figure out the shapes so wonderfully piled together in this, both abstract and realistic. What fun!

    • It was the boxes of colours outlined by the light lines that attracted me and looked like fun. I quickly found filling in dark boxes wasn’t working so cut up and stuck on my paper palette sheet. I particularly tight, so there were a lot of layers on this one piece of paper! Looking at it today, I think I need to do something more with the bright yellow hoarding. I’m definitely finding shapes fun at the moment!

Wow! This is a huge explosion into new territory; powerful, energetic, vibrant. There must be a back story to this. Very pleased for you.

    • No back story I’m afraid, as Leslie said above, I was attracted to the shapes and the opportunity to squeeze out the lemon yellow! Not finished, but I’m struggling to find time to get back to anything, plus it’s too hot! As my granddad used to say “it’s either too bloody hot, or too bloody cold” – wise words.
